From being the only people who turned up to their first Glastonbury gig, to dragging them through the fields of Dorset, to playing the first OUT West Festival that we ever put on….Now well established on the UK Festival scene, Subgiant are continuing to develop their unique brand of live electronica. Since breaking onto the festival circuit the three piece have enjoyed many high profile gigs including last year’s Glastonbury festival on the infamous West Dance Stage and headlining the Dance Stage at the Beautiful Days Festival, having been asked back after a storming set on their main stage the previous year. Other headline slots at the Ragged Hedge Festival, Blissfields and The Vale Earth Fair have also been memorable gigs of 2017.

After booking the band for Bestival, Rob Da Bank of BBC Radio One recently desribed them as ‘the live act to check, beats and bloops at their finest’. In an eFestival review of last years Glastonbury performance they said ‘The vibe was perfect, nobody wanted it to end, these beats are infectious and the packed tent was mesmerised’ the same organisation said of their Larmer Tree Festival set ‘by far the high point on Saturday were Subgiant…they were immense!’.

It’s not just festivals, Subgiant are doing well on the club circuit too including a set at the legendary Slinky for their sellout Halloween Ball, and regular gigs on the busy London club scene.

Subgiant have a unique lineup of Bass/Keyboards, Drums/Percussion & Turntables/Electronics – together the trio produce a tightly executed and powerful sound.
